About project
The project addresses the extension and reconstruction of the existing Baník Hotel in a beautiful location of Štrbské Pleso. For the existing building of the reconstructed part of the hotel (i.e., a bar, reception, and congress center) a new modern swimming pool and wellness area were designed. These areas feature massive glued trusses and substantial glazing highlighting the existing views. The pool area is in the unconventional shape of a dice planted in the ground. This extension has given the hotel a new exceptional look.
